Charity Event 2009

The Johns Practice held its second Charity Event which took place at our offices in Newmarket on Friday 30 October 09.

We held the event for our chosen three charities: Newmarket Day Centre E.A.C.H (East Anglia Children`s Hospice) and the Alzheimer`s Society.

The show included a champagne reception on arrival, authentic Turkish fayre by Turkuaz of Newmarket, music from `The Ultimate Big Experience` Jazz Band, Lighting by LCI lighting and an exciting charity auction.

We had an Aston Martin DBS and a Harley Davidson (of Newmarket) `Night Train` chopper on display, and Bang & Olufsen provided the state of the art sound system, all of which caught the interest of those in attendance.

Pat McAleese (Newmarkets Undefeated Boxer) was kind enough to attend the Charity Event and donated three training sessions with himself.

Our Auction included spectacular items such as a drive in an Aston Martin, a day riding a Harley Davidson, football tickets and a fantastic holiday to Marigot Bay, St Lucia which kindly was donated by Kelsey Kerridge from KJ Holdings.

The evening was a huge success and we are pleased to announce The Johns Practice raised in excess of £4,000 with all the proceeds being split equally amongst the three charities.
